Washing machine fills laundry room with smoke

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a reported structure fire at a residence on Summerfield Drive involving a washing machine that was smoking. Crews found smoke in the attached laundry room with no flames visible and continued to investigate inside the home.
