Construction crew strikes gas line on Merritt Avenue

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a reported gas leak after a construction crew apparently struck a gas line near Merritt Avenue in Bergenfield. Fire units established command and coordinated with the gas utility at the scene.
