I was pulling into the driveway at my apartment when I saw the elderly woman fall. She was lying on the ground when I reached her. Another gentleman stopped his car and we both helped her stand up. She was somewhat disoriented. We asked her where she was going. She didn’t know except for a walk. She wasn’t close to home. She didn’t know who to call. Her husband was at work but she didn’t know his number. Deacon called 911 and asked them to send a police officer and they also sent an ambulance. They decided to take her to the ER because she couldn’t answer some questions they asked. She shouldn’t have been alone in the first place as she said she has an issue with falling and forgetfulness. I hope this opens the eyes of her family to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again. I pray that she is okay. 🙏🏻
