Police respond to a report of a person with a knife on a train at the Addison Red Line station in Chicago. The person, described as wearing a black jumpsuit, reportedly threatened a caller with the knife in a train car. The train was stopped after someone pulled the emergency cord, and the caller stated they were trying to defend themselves. Around the same time, police also receive a report that a woman on the train slapped the caller in the face before the caller left the train to speak with the conductor. It is unclear if the assault is connected to the person with the knife. Officers are sent to the station, and radio traffic later indicates they can slow their response.
