Police track suspicious SUV tied to earlier shooting

Officers monitor a white Dodge Durango with no license plates that was previously reported as a suspicious vehicle and is believed to be linked to an earlier shooting on Paxton. A police helicopter helps track the SUV as it drives through the South Shore area, stopping near Bennett Avenue where people move a backpack between the Durango and a dark sedan. The Durango then goes into a garage and later leaves at high speed, circling the area, making several U-turns, and travelling along 75th Street and nearby roads. Units in another police zone are notified to continue following the vehicle as it heads north toward Lakeshore Drive.
