Honda fails to stop on Route 12 near Copenhagen

Lowville Fire & search and rescue ambulance responded to another amish buggy versus car accident, with one injury individual was conscious and alert. The sheriff's dept shut down route 12, the vehicle that hit the buggy left the scene of the accident, it was a brown Honda Civic and the Lewis county sheriff's department did stop the vehicle about a mile into Jefferson county, and the person driving the vehicle has a suspended license, the driver of the car was transported to the county general hospital for evaluation and then transported to the Lewis county sheriff's department.
