Dogs left in parked vehicle at Home Depot lot

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers received a report of two dogs left inside a parked vehicle in a home improvement store parking lot on Mount Pleasant Avenue. The caller stated the silver Ford Edge with New Jersey registration had the dogs inside and the vehicle apparently was not running. Officers were sent to check on the animals’ welfare and the situation may involve possible animal neglect or an animal welfare concern.
