Chief complaint today is going to be chest pain. So we were dispatched to a private residence. Found our patient seated upright, alert and tracking. Sounds like for the past two days she's been waking up with this chest discomfort. She says that center of her chest radiates to both of her arms. Describes it as an aching burning sensation rating at eight out of ten on the pain scale. She hasn't had any abnormal activity. It doesn't really change with respiratory symptoms. It does change with movement. She thought it was acid reflux originally, so she took some Tums and then she's also taking some pain medications.
