Gas line struck by excavator on West Farmington Road

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported gas line strike near the 12700 block of West Farmington Road across from North Main Street. An excavator apparently hit a small gas line a short distance below ground, causing a gas odor in the area. The gas company was reportedly notified and was en route.
