Drifting telephone pole hazard near Chelsea Piers

Break. Coast Guard received a report of a partially submerged telephone pole, approximately 20 feet long and two to two and a half inches in diameter, possibly drifting northbound between Chelsea Piers and Stevens Institute of Technology.

All mariners be advised and transit the area with caution.
