Hiker reports man with gun and dogs near trailhead in Jackson

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a 911 call about a male subject near the Bog Brook Trailhead at the end of Carter Notch Road in Jackson. Other hikers reported the subject had two large dogs, a gun on his hip, and they heard a gunshot. Fish and Game was notified, and responding units were asked to start toward the trailhead to check the area.
