Apartment oven checked after smoke concern

As discussed during the dispatch call, firefighters responded to a first floor apartment on John Hay Avenue in Kearny for a possible stove issue. The crew ventilated the unit, used a meter that showed normal readings, and advised the resident to have the stove inspected by a licensed technician. All units were then returned to service while police remained on scene and command was established for further investigation.
