Strong smoke odor reported near Westgate Avenue

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units and other responders were sent to a residence on Westgate Avenue after a caller reported a strong smell of smoke but did not see any fire. Crews reported no visible signs of fire and remained on scene for a short investigation. A unit was also noted as assisting another agency at a location on Church Street, possibly standing by for a children’s services matter.
