Strong natural gas odor reported on Avenue I

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a report of a strong natural gas odor in offices, nearby apartments, and outside in the area of Avenue I in Levelland, Texas. Responders requested the gas utility be notified and checked areas to the south and west of the apartments, noting the smell could possibly be related to nearby oil field activity and was faint near a location called Equalizer.
