Commercial building fire at AmeriGas in Lima

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews from Shawnee and Lima responded to a reported propane tank on fire at a commercial gas business on South Dixie Highway. Initial reports suggested the tank might be burning off, but arriving units reported smoke coming from a building and declared a commercial structure fire involving an approximately 40 by 50 foot building. Multiple engines, a tanker, and ladder trucks were requested, and crews prepared to make forcible entry through a fence while coordinating access routes and staging from nearby streets.
