Vehicle fire on highway caused by e-bike battery

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews and state police responded to a vehicle fire on I-287 near milepost 63 in Mahwah. Occupants were outside the vehicle, and the apparent fire from a lithium e-bike battery was later reported extinguished.
