Truck with overheated brakes on Route 6

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a report of a tractor-trailer smoking on Route 6 near Chapel Road. It was determined that the truck’s brakes were overheating, with no active fire, and a mechanic was called to the scene. Separately, medical units transported patients to a nearby hospital and assisted a staff member who was reportedly unconscious at a daycare on Cranberry Highway.
