Three-acre vegetation fire near Old Lake and G Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported vegetation fire near Old Lake Road and G Street in Merced. Units described about three acres of light, flashy fuels with a moderate rate of spread and worked to gain access from a nearby construction area. Additional resources were requested to assist at the scene.
