Results from gentle parenting

Robert Robert

I’m not the least bit surprised, this is exactly what happens when parents aren’t allowed to discipline their children. They grow up believing they can do whatever they please. At this rate, I can only imagine how many more prisons will be built in the future. Without respect, discipline, and proper guidance, how can anyone truly succeed? Too many kids think they have all the answers, and heaven forbid a parent tries to correct them. It’s a total disgrace compared to the values we once held. Honestly, take me back to the 60s.

my boys tried this with me at me one point. they wouldn't put their hands on me but would refuse to go to school. I put the child locks on my car, picked their little butts up in whatever they had on, PJs, underwear, I didn't care. I threw their clothes, shoes, coats in their bookbags strapped them in the car called the school to tell them to have the principal or school officer ready, and forced them to go to school. they learned their lesson when they showed up at drop off in their undies, I will not be told that they aren't going to do what I say.

yeah im sure he doesnt live surrounded by alcoholics who have no business raising children when they cant make good life choices themselves but they are gonna raise kids to make good choices you cant teach what you dont know. this child is clearly a product of his environment

It goes both ways. Yes, some people have children when they have no business reproducing, they’re addicts, irresponsible, financially unstable, and lack even the most basic parenting skills. On the other hand, I see just as many kids crying “abuse” the moment their parents try to enforce even the simplest discipline. Too many children today feel completely entitled, convinced they already know everything. Unfortunately, many of them will only learn the hard way, behind bars. It's a shame.
