Apartment building fire with heavy smoke reported

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a reported structure fire at an apartment on Hampton Boulevard, where neighbors reported flames and heavy black smoke and residents were advised to evacuate. Command was established on scene and police coordinated with the electric company.
