Dog locked in vehicle at Walmart parking lot

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were dispatched to a store parking lot near Wilton Boulevard for a report of a dog locked in a vehicle. The responding unit was later advised that they could cancel, so the apparent animal welfare concern may have been resolved or unfounded.
