Officer requested over concerns about abusive boyfriend

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were requested near a park along US Highway 71 in Straight River Township to speak with a caller about picking up a friend from a home where the friend’s mother may be repeatedly bringing an abusive boyfriend to the residence.
