As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were requested to check on several young children reportedly swimming near the boat ramp at a park in Pontiac while adults watched nearby.

I use to love when it would ice over and go ice skating in the park. Hopefully these children are ok. We use to walk across it when it was frozen ..I lived right across the street 613 w water. Haven't seen that river in years
