It's a epidemic around here for sure. Having ailments on a fixed income with no relief pushes the envelope. I know that there is a 4 month wait for a mental health check up, no need available if one is in need, very few and far in-between. A couple new facilities in GR, but nothing much up north without hours drive. And not much of follow up. Pretty much null for mental health care in Michigan.

Not very many beds available for people in need. Hours drive.

It’s happening every day around here

It's very sad and even more when it comes to our elderly who have been around for all of these years but just didn't have enough in them to go on any further. Prayers for this gentleman's family. Suicide is something that hits me pretty dang hard in many ways. Please Please Please get some help, or if you know someone of any age who is struggling with the thought of harming themselves, call for help. You are not being an inconvenience for saving their life! And that's a fact.
