Strange thing to announce over the radio that a 911 dispatcher hung up on someone who had called 911... because they were being belligerent. This same lack of competency in the arena of helping, protecting, and serving the public is precisely why it is counterproductive to send police to a situation intending for them to respond in an actual helpful way. Genuine help and assistance can practically always be more effectively provided by responders who do not and will not add harm to an already harmed situation. Responders who are, in fact, prohibited from unnecessarily adding harm. It takes an exceptionally mentally secure and strong individual to accept such a duty and then actually be able to perform it, and then actually perform it.
