Apartment fire alarm triggered by cooking

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a general fire alarm at a multi‑story apartment building on Bellevue Avenue in Richmond. Units investigated a report of strobes and an alarm on the second floor and determined the alarm was apparently caused by cooking in a common area. The system was reset and most units returned to service while one engine remained to confirm a good reset.
