Tree branch strikes power line causing outage

As discussed during the dispatch call, mission Valley Power received a call from a customer near Koester Lane in Ronan, Montana, reporting that a tree branch struck a power line, causing sparks and a fireball. There was no apparent active fire, but the incident resulted in a power outage at the caller’s location.
