Yard fire with minor extension to house controlled

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a small yard fire near Meadow Street in Royalton. The fire was knocked down, with some heat and possible extension found around a windowsill and gutter area. A crew checked inside the house while the homeowner was present, and the situation was reported under control. Separately, a disabled vehicle at the corner of Fayette and Banker reportedly did not need fire department assistance.
