Emergency crews responded to a gas leak near Donridge and surrounding streets in the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District. They detected a strong gas odor and high gas readings at the leak site. Residents near the area were instructed to shelter in place. Roads near the leak, including El Ray and Donridge, were closed for public safety.
