so the just took the AR and boxed ammunition. if you went to jail they are required to inventor a the contents of the vehicle before they tow it.. .. I do hope you get your property back. . FYI the Attorney General of Florida sent every law enforcement agency's threw out the state not to take or charge anyone who can legally buy a firearm reminding law enforcement to follow the 1st district court ruling threw out the state.

Dear Mr. Fredrick: First off … please consider investing in Grammarly. Secondly, you seem to be assuming a lot based on a jail call. Third, the new gun laws don’t give everyone cart blanc to display guns in public. It does prohibit all but a very few persons/positions from carrying around an AR. Thus, the why the AR was seized. Bullets aren’t illegal to possess. No reason to take them. Handguns are not illegal unless you are a convicted felon or experiencing something that makes you a harm to yourself or others. So, unless this dude was a felon or was placed under a Baker/Marchman Act… he keeps his hand guns. Now for the body armor… there definitely are laws making that illegal and per the news report, LE confiscated his. Perhaps you should educate yourself further before spouting off legal advice to a criminal and/or insinuating police would steal this guys property. No police officer thinks having this dudes crap is worth losing their freedom, livelihood and reputation over.
