False fire alarm caused by boiling water

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units were dispatched to a reported fire alarm near the (number withheld) block of Avers Avenue in Skokie. The alarm company reported that boiling water may have accidentally set off the system. A battalion chief arrived to investigate, and other responding units were released.
