Person possibly hit by vehicle at Fort and Eureka

As discussed during the dispatch call, police and fire units responded to a medical emergency near the intersection of Fort Street and Eureka. A person was found lying in the roadway, possibly struck by a vehicle, and was conscious, breathing, talking, and complaining of back pain. Engine 81 and Rescue 81 arrived on scene, and the person was taken to a hospital after decontamination delays.
