Gas odor traced to unlit cooking equipment

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported gas odor at a location on Shaker Road in Westfield. The odor appears to have come from cooking equipment where gas was turned on but the pilot lights were not lit. Crews checked multiple floors, did not find hazardous gas readings, and determined that ventilation was not needed.
