Experiencing excitement after leaving detox surely is a valid reason for a 911 call. Have you ever detoxed from anything before? You usually feel like crap for days/weeks/months afterward. Having any feeling other than wanting to die, that surely is a miracle to be shared. Unless the excitement was that they were able to successfully use shortly after leaving.
